Guest blogging is a great way to get your brand and your content in front of an already existing audience that someone else took the time to build. Here are five quick ways to get guest blogging opportunities.

#1. Announce your interest:

Use your social media accounts to let people know that you’re looking to contribute to blogs specific to your industry. Example: “Looking to guest blog about marketing for startups, anyone know of a blog looking for content?”

#2. Look inside your network and see who has blogs:

Have you ever looked into your LinkedIn connections to see who has established blogs that may fit the topic you’re writing about? When you find possible fits, email asking how to get involved.

#3. Collect list of industry related blogs and contact:

Use Google and Bing searches to create a list. Research what they are looking for and see what types of posts they publish. This will help when you reach out to them.

#4. Look for paid opportunities:

Paying $5 to post your blog post on a website may seem like a waste of money, but the exposure and SEO gained is usually worth it. Check out Fiverr.com.

#5. Create industry-related blog not specific to your company:

You could create a content marketing strategies page and feature other writers along with your own thoughts, which then could lead them to your business.
