Getting on the Right Track: Kahuna Accounting Weekly Recap February 26, 2016

By February 26, 2016No Comments

“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.” – Will Rogers

The Kahuna Accounting team is headed to Phoenix! Six team members will attend ICON 2016, the official Infusionsoft User Conference (March 2nd – 4th). We’re looking forward to team building, networking, and learning from experts in different fields. If also going to the event, connect with us on Twitter @Kahuna4Business and we’ll make time to say hi.

What We Learned This Week

We’ve all heard that starting is the hardest part, but after starting a business, the challenges are far from over. When placing emphasis on getting started at all costs, it can be hard to determine if you’re on the right track or not because you just want to get going.

Sometimes, we start in the wrong direction.

In episode 56 of the TREPX Podcast, Kahuna Accounting’s Micky Deming talked to Taktical’s Ilan Nass, a digital marketing expert. “People who do not know their own data will have a very difficult time growing in any meaningful way because they will not know where their holes are. Once you know your data you can grow,” said Nass.

Knowing where you stand, including your marketing data and your financial standing, is essential to know what track you’re on and if it’s the right one. Only then will your hard work and efforts keep you ahead of the competition and on pace to accomplish your goals.

Kahuna Accounting Update

Kahuna’s Micky Deming was featured this week at Pamela Slim’s website. Pam is the author of Escape from Cubicle Nation and is a trusted voice in the entrepreneur community.

She’s also a big fan of Kahuna Accounting and the value we provide entrepreneurs. In this conversation, Micky and Pam discuss the value of solid bookkeeping and steps you can take to make tax season easy.
