Kahuna Accounting Weekly Recap March 11

“Anyone’s life truly lived consists of work, sunshine, exercise, soap, plenty of fresh air, and a happy contented spirit.”

–          Lillie Langtry

What We Learned This Week

Not all work is done in the office, nor should It be. Last week, a significant portion of the Kahuna Accounting team left Central Illinois for a few sunny days in Phoenix, Arizona. We attended the 2016 Infusionsoft User Conference (#ICON16) along with thousands of other business owners, leaders, and entrepreneurs.

This trip was a massive investment. We took six employees out of the office for four days, plus committed the costs for travel and hotel rooms.

And wow! It was well worth it. In this trip we learned new things, met new people and came away with some incredible opportunities for growth in our business.

Most importantly, we were able to step out of our own environment and out of our own heads for a bit and could see things a bit differently. Getting into a new place with different people and an entrepreneurial energy was just the boost our team needed.

We are feeling fired up!

Do you ever get stuck in a rut with the same routine, the same people and the same place? Maybe it’s time to get away.

What can you do to get out of the office, or even take an employee or two out of the office to see something new, meet someone different, and re-energize?
