Financial Numbers for Entrepreneurs

By December 1, 2014No Comments

At Kahuna we really love our numbers. That’s because we are accountants.

But for you as an entrepreneur, numbers don’t mean anything unless you 1. Know what they mean and 2. Know what to look for.

Our goal in working with our clients is not to just provide a black and white picture of numbers, but to provide a story that can guide an entrepreneur and equip them as a business owner.

One of the best writers and thought-leaders we have seen in the space of providing financial knowledge to entrepreneurs is Emily Chase Smith. Her new post provides some great insight into which numbers to look at, and the metrics that can drive a business forward.

See her post on metrics here.

And if you want to go even deeper, Emily wrote an outstanding book, The Financially Savvy Entrepreneur, which is a must-read for any business owner.

Lastly, if you are unable to see your numbers or know how to understand what you are seeing, we are helping entrepreneurs transform their bookkeeping for 2015. See more details here about getting started with Kahuna Accounting.
